POVERTY!

In a small two bedroom flat in the busy streets of south London lived a man named Bill. He had a family of four, him, his wife and two kids both boys. He has been fired from work and it’s almost inevitable that he will lose his home. Now that he has been fired he cannot afford to put a meal on the table let alone pay rent, he blames the government and media for the crisis has in.”I can’t find any jobs, my family are suffering, the media neglect us and the government is doing nothing about it”. The media and government neglect the people who are homeless because they believe it will affect the country’s look on wide scale; therefore they choose to ignore people like bill and his family.

Bill had a rough childhood, coming from a poor family and had a bad education. He spent days and nights without power and food, his father managed to secure a job and get just enough money to pay rent and provide for his family, him and his family may not Be as lucky this shows that there are children in need. In the UK, many people are in poverty. This is not only adults who are suffering but children, it’s proven that over 1/4 of children and are desperately seeking help. In London over half a million went to a food bank from April-September.188,884 of those were children, this goes to show just how many people are in need and just how much of an impact poverty has caused.

When people are in needing money in order to survive, they tend to claim benefits. This could be a miracle for some, it could help them put food on the table for them or their families and do not have to go days without power and electricity.

There was a man named john, he was diagnosed with memory loss and continuously turned up to work late and some days he may not even turn up. His employer wasn’t showing him any sort of remorse or sympathy for that he has been diagnosed with memory loss and fired him from the job. He struggled to find a job and was struggling to pay his rent; he then decided to attempt to claim benefits as it was his only chance to sleep under a roof. They gave him a date and time for his appointment with the DWP, days had past and john had missed his appointment with DWP because of the memory loss he had been diagnosed with. He was not granted any justice and now lives on the streets of London with no shelter and food.

The people who are in poverty are the ones who are treated like outcasts by the media and government. They ignore and neglect the people in need, they do this because they believe it will give the country a bad look on a worldwide scale, it will also help politicians get elected because they are promising things that there not going to do,they do it to get more votes.

Geology Rocks

1.The 3 types of rock are called igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.

Igneous:Igneous rock is one of the three main rock types, the others are sedimentary and metamorphic. Igneous rock is formed through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava.

Sedimentary:Sedimentary rocks are types of rock that are formed by the deposition and subsequent cementation of that material at the Earth’s surface and within bodies of water.

Metamorphic:A metamorphic rock is a type of rock which has been changed by extreme heat and pressure.

A)The way to identify the rocks Metamorphic,Sedimentary and igneous are by the way they feel,Each rock has its own significant feel to it.Metamorphic rocks feel rough,Sedimentary rock feel hard and smooth and Igneous rocks feel bumpy.

B)A real life example of of Metamorphic,Sedimentary and Igneous rocks are normally used at front door gardens.

E)They are commonly used for building material and decoration.

2.The Rock Cycle is a group of changes. Igneous rock can change into sedimentary rock or into metamorphic rock. Sedimentary rock can change into metamorphic rock or into igneous rock. Metamorphic rock can change into igneous or sedimentary rock. Igneous rock forms when magma cools and makes crystals.

3.Weathering is the breakdown of rocks at the Earth’s surface, by the action of rainwater, extremes of temperature, and biological activity. It does not involve the removal of rock material. There are three types of weathering, physical, chemical and biological.

4.The size of crystals in an igneous rock is an important indicator of the conditions where the rock formed. An igneous rock with large crystals probably indicates that the rock formed deep within the Earth, since it is typically warmer deep inside the Earth than near the surface.
