Geology Rocks

1.The 3 types of rock are called igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.

Igneous:Igneous rock is one of the three main rock types, the others are sedimentary and metamorphic. Igneous rock is formed through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava.

Sedimentary:Sedimentary rocks are types of rock that are formed by the deposition and subsequent cementation of that material at the Earth’s surface and within bodies of water.

Metamorphic:A metamorphic rock is a type of rock which has been changed by extreme heat and pressure.

A)The way to identify the rocks Metamorphic,Sedimentary and igneous are by the way they feel,Each rock has its own significant feel to it.Metamorphic rocks feel rough,Sedimentary rock feel hard and smooth and Igneous rocks feel bumpy.

B)A real life example of of Metamorphic,Sedimentary and Igneous rocks are normally used at front door gardens.

C)Sedimentary rocks are made when sand, mud and pebbles form layers.Igneous rocks are formed by the Extrusive igneous rocks form when the magma or molten rock pours out onto the earth’s surface or erupts at the earth’s surface from a volcano,Metamorphic rocks are formed by the heat and pressure.

D)Igneous rocks are made by volcano’s,Sedimentary rocks are made by The material at the earths surface and metamorphic rocks are mad by the heat and pressure.

E)They are commonly used for building material and decoration.

2.The Rock Cycle is a group of changes. Igneous rock can change into sedimentary rock or into metamorphic rock. Sedimentary rock can change into metamorphic rock or into igneous rock. Metamorphic rock can change into igneous or sedimentary rock. Igneous rock forms when magma cools and makes crystals.

3.Weathering is the breakdown of rocks at the Earth’s surface, by the action of rainwater, extremes of temperature, and biological activity. It does not involve the removal of rock material. There are three types of weathering, physical, chemical and biological.

4.The size of crystals in an igneous rock is an important indicator of the conditions where the rock formed. An igneous rock with large crystals probably indicates that the rock formed deep within the Earth, since it is typically warmer deep inside the Earth than near the surface.

DIAZ STYLE!!!!!!

One summer, my father took me to Holland to see some family.I followed my father towards the exit of the airport but was greeted with heavy rain and hoping a taxi or somebody who would be willing to give us ride.We where in luck as a black taxi pulled up ahead of us,my father quickly walked towards the car and signaled me to come.By this time the rain wasn’t getting better if anything it was getting worse,my attention turned to the fields towards my right hand side and left. The field where filled with a bright green color and where leaning towards the side because of the heavy rain.As a kid I was told that in different countries the time would be different, for example I could be sleeping and in other countries people could be eating there breakfast and preparing for school. It took us 45 minutes at the most to finally reach our destination, the house didn’t look to different compared to my house back in London. The house seemed to have 3 floors with a hoist of flowers and fresh green grass.Once again my father took the lead and i follow him to the front door, after knocking simultaneously the door was finally open by my fathers sister, my aunt. Most of my family from my fathers side was there such as my aunts, uncles, cousins and even my step brothers and sisters. After finally greeting everybody and eating dinner we all decided to catch up on things we done without each other, one of the things i spoke about was how i recently went to the fun fair back in London called Thorpe park.I was saying how i went on all the scary rides by myself and started to wonder what they had done but was shortly interrupted by a knock on the door.It was my other uncle who had lived with his wife and kids and decided to bring them along with him to meet us,we greeted each other and spoke about how i was doing at school and what i was doing at home and so on.Time was running so quick and by this time it was already moving on to 10:00 pm and i was feeling heavy eyed after the long journey here,so i decided to tell my dad who then sent me to my aunt to escort me to the room i was sleeping in, i took of my jeans and rummaged through my suit case looking for a pair of shorts with a vest. After messing up my suit case looking for a pair of shorts i finally found them and slipped them on and parted into my bed.I woke up around 10:00 and slipped out of bed and started walking towards my suit case i had left half open last night,i got my brush and walked towards the toilet to brush my teeth. After splashing some cold water onto my face i decide to go down stairs in search of some food,my aunt said you and your brothers are going to the beach.I was filled with joy and horror,as child I never liked water because of the fear of drowning but I decided to overcome my fear of water and told myself that I had grew out of my tragic fear of water.I sat down on the dinning table next to my father who was eating egg, beans and toast and asked me if I where hungry,he said if I was I should ask my aunt so I did what I was told and returned to the with a plate of food. After a while I began to notice the weather didn’t seem as bad as it was yesterday,I quickly realized why the chose this day particular day as it was the only day where the sun would be glimmering. After 10 to 15 minutes I finished my plate and took it to the kitchen until my aunt stop me in my tracks and took the plate,so I walked over to the couch and sat down to rest my legs.My head was flooding with thoughts of drowning and i began to get butterfly’s,after a while my brother entered the room and said we are leaving in a half hour, the stomach ache quickly came round.I rushed towards the stairs to here my father shout slow down but continued to rush up the stairs,i went to my suitcase and got a pair of swimming shorts and the jeans i was wearing when i arrived here.30 minutes has passed and we are putting are shoes on,I was the one who had opened the door and the first to walk out,as soon as i took a step out a strong wave of heat had hit my body.I walked towards the first tree in search of some protection from the high temperature,my brother told me to get into the car.It was my uncles car and i thought he had cooled it down but i was wrong,It felt like we where held in a oven to the maximum heat it could create. The thoughts of drowning soon came and clouded my head, although i knew how to swim i had a feeling something would go wrong,The beach wasn’t very far it wasn’t a far drive it took us ten minutes to reach our destination. We walked to the changing rooms and purchased a locker to store all our things, the butterfly’s had now come at me with all its force my eyes searched for any sign leading towards the toilets,i was in luck as toilet was opposite our lockers.I hoped the butterfly’s would disapere.

Anti-semetism

I believe the Merchant of Venice is anti-Semitic because I believe that Shakespeare has made Shylock look like he cares about his money being taken as well as his daughter going of with a Christian lover.

The reason why I believe it is because it’s makes Shylock look as if he cares about his money more than his daughter is because a normal person with a daughter or son who decides to leave with your money what your first thoughts be? I believe that people wouldn’t care about the money all of there concerns will be about there kid wondering whether or not there safe, but Shakespeare made the Jewish character Shylock look as if he cared about his money as much as his daughter.

The definition of antisemitism is when Jews where discriminated in Venice here are some examples of the being in the text of them being discriminated.
•Antonio spat on Shylock
•When Antonio called Shylock a dog
•When the Christians brought slaves beat them punished them and called Shylock a bad person from asking for Antonio’s pound of flesh.

Here is the quotation for it “what judgement should I dread, doing wrong?you have among you many a purchased slave,Which, like your asses and your dogs and mules,You use in abject in slavish because you bought them.Shall I say to you,’let them be free! Marry them to your heirs?

Shylock is trying to say what judgement should he dread? you purchased slaves beat them force them to to your dirty work yet still have the nerve to call me cruel? when you beat or punish someone or sell them to other people wouldn’t that be a pound of flesh?there for you have no right to call me crazy.

There where several time where the play seemed to be discrimination against the Jews, for example they spat on Shylock the Jew,Laughed at his loses, called him a dog and when the Christians buy slaves and expect to nobody to say anything but the one time Shylock said if Antonio doesn’t pay Shylock the money back that he owed him  he would take a pound of his flesh, with Antonio knowing the consequences he took his chances and took the money, and when Antonio didn’t pay back Shylock’s money he called Shylock cruel for asking for a pound of flesh.

Future Dystopia

In the future we may suffer from many problems in completely different occasions, for example there may be another world war which will be known as World War 3 or even a civil war which will cause destruction which may cost up to maybe billions of  pounds and will put human live’s in jeopardy. The world’s population may increase to a vast number which will mean more houses will need to be built and there will be a fair chance the taxes will also be increased.

In London, as any country/city, we can only have a certain amount of people living in the country because we may run out of resources such as food, houses, loss of stock such as less clothing because there will be more people in the city which might not be able to be provided for.

If London had suffered from a civil war a lot of destruction may be caused which may cost up to million’s of pounds which may leave us with nothing left.It may also leave many civilians severely injured or may be left with life threatening wounds or may even be dead, that will leave the hospitals left with a large amount of people waiting who may even be going through their last minutes of life.

If London had contributed with World War 3 the effects we will suffer from would be utterly catastrophic leading to death destruction and the complete obliteration of mankind as a whole because every body would flee to safety which may leave them to starve to death or may even cause cannibalism.

I woke up to screaming and shouting. The chaos, a result of the bullets from an AK-47, made me snap into consciousness. I stumbled out of bed unaware of what may lie ahead of me, I quickly tried to put on my clothes but was interrupted by my father who muttered, ” QUICKLY WALEED WE NEED TO GO NOW.” It was a side I had never witnessed of my father there for I new this was something bad. As my father slammed the door in a panic, I continued to put on my clothes. I then rushed towards the door, not long ago shut by my father with fear and anger, panic now rushing  through my own blood stream.

Creeping stealthily down the creaking steps, I hid in the shadows listening to the choir of voices travelling through the slither of a crack in the living room door. I felt the icy breeze from the harsh winter outside force the hairs on my body freeze like glistening icicles. Slipping on my shoes and my thick padded coat, I walked towards the back door silently praying that I wouldn’t be heard. Slowly, I gripped the brass door handle still thinking if it would be wise to find out what would be waiting to greet me on the other side of the door. Swallowing my fears, I turned the handle and inch by inch. Never in my worst nightmare could I have imagined the devastation of my surroundings.

As soon as the door opened, a fragile, old lady attempted to run for her life. She was swiftly manhandled and put straight to a never ending sleep. Her lifeless body was thrown into the back of a black van like a piece of raggedy rubbish. I shut the door paralyzed with fear, because the force I had used to shut the door not long after was accompanied with my parents wondering why i had gone venturing with all of this chaos going on outside. They had look at me with disappointment which evolved into anger.I then stomped my way up into my room to then see my sister crying I muttered “why are you crying”? she then answered back “I don’t want to die waleed” my mother interrupted “nobody is going to die” we all hugged and it was a moment of strengthening bonds and regrouping.

dystopia

I believe that the car which is on the  bridge is going to the military base. The military base is a place were all of the soldiers live and were all of the jets, tanks cargo bobs and so on.On the bridge is a dog with a man who is dressed like a soldier and is most likely to be because what type of man would were army cloths in front of the military base with a dog guarding it.The reason why the soldiers are in front of the military base with a gun and dog is because they are trying to make sure nobody smuggles anything such as drugs, exploses because they may be planning on exploding the place and so on.

how Shakespeare keeps his audience focused

How Shakespeare keeps his audience focused.

Introduction

In this essay I will be explaining how Shakespeare keeps his audience engaged on what he is doing. I will be writing on how Shakespeare keeps his audience focused on his plays, and some facts about Shakespeare for example where he was born the plays he wrote and so on.

Facts about Shakespeare

1564 the birth of William Shakespeare, he was born on Stratford-Upon-Avon and was baptised on April 26th. He then went on to be a play writer and created a number of differ plays which thousands of people then went on to watch them, the play he created are Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, Othello, Hamlet, And many more. As time went on Shakespeare then died just three days before he was baptised April 23rd, 1616.

How Shakespeare keeps his audience focused

William Shakespeare use many different ways to keep his audience or viewers focused such as allot of action and drama which will make his plays more tense and most people enjoy high tension, he also adds a variation of characters who have a good and bad side to them for example at the beginning of the play there will be a fine, kind person but deep inside he is just acting and will then turn out to be a villain.  To make his plays tenser he will not only go on and make one play and end it there will also be a part 2 or 3 which will build even higher tension beginning middle and ending which will summarise the play. The reason why Shakespeare has gained the amount of respect he has now is because the amazing plays he writes they all have drama which tends to keep the audience engaged in what William Shakespeare has created. Shakespeare’s first play was the Titus Andronicus he wrote that play in 1589.

Summery

In this essay I have gone through the success William Shakespeare has gone through such as the plays he has written, the respect he gains from his audience because the way he has created it, it is full of high tension and drama.
